First Week of School
Mackay started a new school -
he is in 6th grade at DRAPER PARK MIDDLE SCHOOL.
His bus comes at 7:01 am... Ugh!!
Between getting up so early and having football EVERY NIGHT - he is struggling...
Monday: He got himself up EARLY and was ready to go.... but that lasted ONE day.
Tuesday: was rough.
Wednesday: he got a cup of water poured on him by his dad because he wouldn't get out of bed, only to call me at 9:30 am from school with a "stomach ache"... I checked him out and he slept from 10 until 2 pm. Between football and school, he's a little overcooked.
Thursday: we had Tears in the morning. Tears before football. Tears before bed. We had a "come to Jesus" in bed.
Friday: he was an angel but the bus didn't come until 9:05 am.
