Bear Lake was hot and sunny apparently... Sunburned.

Surviving Scout Camp

Leaving for his first Scout Camp at BEAR LAKE!

They started warm - turned cold - went to FREEZING rain - miserable conditions - flooded tents  - soaking wet clothes  - home sick  - not happy.

Dad arrives on the 5th day and the sun comes out.

He is much happier.

Did he enjoy scout camp?  Let's just say he 'survivied'...

Scuba Certification

My 11 Year Old Scout Troop went up to Midway to dive in the Crater.

I passed and am now certified to Scuba Dive!!

 (I'm the 2nd kids over - sitting next to my friend Jason.  These are Jason parents... ha ha ha)

Arrow of Light

I got my Arrow of Light last night for Cub Scouts.

Now I can start going to the Blazer Scouts.

 Akela asked me if I had done my best in my first 3 years of cub scouts.  

I said "yes".  

He then burned my handkerchief to see if I was telling the truth.  

If I was lying it would have burned to ashes.  

It didn't. 

It was really cool.

 My dad awarded me my Arrow of Light patch.

I pinned my mom with the Arrow of Light pin.

It was a cool.

Rain Gutter Regada

My dad helped me make my boat with a Nike Theme for our Scout Rain Gutter Regada.

I got 2nd Place!!!

One kid cheated or I would have got 1st ... oh well.

I am laughing in the picture because Brother Ormond makes us kiss our mom's after putting the pin on her. I had just kissed my mom in front of lots of people. I was a little embarrassed.

Space Derby!

I got the "Jazziest" award.

My rocket came in 3rd overall!!

I had to do an Animal Oral Report

I did the Black Panther (because it is the University of Pittsburgh mascot)

I got 100%

This is my 3rd grade teacher, Ms. Jacobs.

I get to have her for 4th grade too.

Pinewood Derby

Last week was my first Pinewood Derby!!

I raced 4 times. I got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and then 1st again.
And sometimes I had to race my friends.

I got an award for "Most Pictures".
It was fun!!
