Camping in the Backyard

Me and my brother were sleeping in our tent the other night.
It was fun!
Here is me and Hayden in the tent.

This is one with my dad, me, and my brother, and Molly.
We watched movies all night.
Hayden peed and pooped outside like a dog.
My mom got mad and told him he was too young to sleep outside.
I liked sleeping outside,
but when I woke up the sprinklers started and the grass was wet.
It didn't get us wet.
I want to sleep out there again soon!!!

Football Equipment

I finally got my Football Equipment!!
I am going to try outs on August 7th for Alta Gremlins.

This is me getting ready to go out and practice tackling.
I have lots of friends in my neighborhood that are going to play in the same league.
Andrew Dolphin, Dustin Millich, Zach Gardner, Jason Casey, and Daniel Thomason.

I can't wait!!!

2nd Grade

I am almost done with 2nd grade. Only 2 and 1/2 days left.

This is my teacher Mrs. Riley.

I liked her a lot.
I have lots of friends.
I made a lot of new friends in 2nd grade too.

This is Daniel. He is very fast. He came to my house last week. We played football.

We are playing football outside in just our socks. That makes my mom mad.

Special Person Week

Day 1 - I took my poster. they loved it. I explained all the pictures.

Day 2 - I took my signed football and football pictures.
Last summer I went to a football camp with my cousins. Luther Ellis and Andre Dyson came. They signed my football and pictures of them. I told my class that I love FOOTBALL!!!



Day 3 - I took my cast and pins.
When I was 2 1/2 years old I broke my elbow. I had to have an operation to put pins in my elbow to fix it. I had a blue cast that all my family signed. Now I have a funny elbow. I also showed them my scar.



Day 4 - I took my Grandma Kathy Bear and a picture of us. (We forgot to take a picture.) I told them that even though I like football and am rough, I also have things that are special to me. I told my class that when I was 3 I lived with my Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Earl. I would wake up really early in the morning and would go into my grandma's room and sit on her chair with her. We would watch for the sun to come up. My Grandma Kathy died. I miss her a lot, but for Christmas I got a bear with her voice. She left me a message. It says, "Hi Mackay, I'll remember you when the sun comes up. Will you remember me when the sun comes up? I love you. Remember me." My teacher listened to my bear and it made her cry.

Day 5 - I was supposed to bring my favorite treat to the class to share.
I love OREOS!!! I gave each of them a package of oreos.
I also wanted to take something else from my Grandma Kathy. I took my pillow and a picture of my grandma holding me when I was a baby. She is wearing her red striped shirt. After she died, we got a pillow for our beds made out of some of her extra clothes. I was lucky to get my pillow made out of the shirt she is holding me in. When I put my cheek on my pillow, I think of when I was a baby and laid on her shoulder.


My mom tells me I am a special kid all the time, but now my teacher and my class think I am a special kid.

Day 1 for "Special Person" Week.

I am the Special Person at school next week.
I get to take something to school each day next week.
Last night my mom and I made a poster all about me. I will take it on Monday.

It has a big football on it. it is a little hard to see it.
In the middle is a picture of me and about me. My birthday. my family. where I was born.
At the bottom it has my favorites. Steelers, crepes, sports, and Disneyland.
The part with the sad face is about things that are not good with me. I had to have my tonsils out to help me sleep. I have bad allergies and feel like I am allergic to flowers. and I broke my elbow and had to have surgery.
The part with the happy face is things I am good at. I am good at football. I am a good sleeper but I wake up too early. I am a good brother and a good friend.

I will tell you what I take on the other days later.

What's Unique about Mackay???

This is Mackay's mom posting on his blog today with a QUESTION!!

Sleepover Fun!!

on Friday night i got to go to my friend Andrews house. We played basketball. my friends brother and his friend was over too. so we played 2 on 2 game. then at night we played a football game. they kick off whoever gets it tries to jump on the bingbag. if they get tackled they would have to throw it away from them.

we played a lot more and then i called my mom and dad and asked if we could have a sleep over. they are so nice. they let me.

First we watched land of the lost. it is way funny. and then we played the x box. and then we got probably 10 blankets. we put 2 on the bottom and stacked them and then we put 7 on the top. i was on the side. i'm so lucky cuz we put heaters on the side. I got the most warmest.

we woke up we went to my friends little sisters soccer game. we played catch with a baseball. then we went to mcdonalds for breakfast. then we came back to my friends house and went to treehouse and played basketball again. they were small enough for me to slam dunk it. then we went to the pool. the hot tub was closed. we were mad. we swam for a little bit and then when we were done we went to the gym and shot hoops.

we played a lot of basketball!!

then we went to Arby's for lunch. then i had to go home. The sleep over is over but it was way fun.

St. George Fun

We went to st george. It was fun.


Yay!! We finally got Hayden a life jacket so he could swim in the deep end.

I was going to get a tank top that had a bigger 9 on it but my mom and I think would not like the tank top so I got a t shirt with a smaller 9 on it.


I got this one becasue it is a cool shirt and it has a lot of sports on it.


my mom choose this one. it is for my plaid shorts.


this shirt glows in the dark. it is very cool.


I got this one because it is like the steelers.


I chose this outfit. I think I am going to wear it on picture day.


I chose this one too because i love football.


my mom let me get one pair of basketball shorts. I chose these because it has a football on the side.

I loved my vacation at St. George!!

Party Time

This weekend we had a few parties.
Saturday I had a primary party where I had to bring grandparents or a relative to learn about ancestors.

this is my aunt Stephanie. she was the detective that gave us clues.


This is me and Roe eating our pancakes. We did a bingo game and it was fun.

My best thing we did was build a temple with sugar cubes and frosting. I ate my sugar cubes later.

this is all of us when we walked in a circle to get a sucker about steps to make it to the temple.

On Sunday we had a birthday party for Tanner and Roe. I love it when my cousins come over. We played a game with gum. Rustyn and Tanner had to eat lots of gum. it was gross. i wish I got to eat lots of gum though. Then my sister made me mad and I went to my room mad. I fell asleep and when I woke up everyone was gone. I was even more mad. I didn't want to miss the rest of the party.

Football Accident

Can you tell what "spots" should be there and which ones shouldn't??

My top lip pops out. It is hard to talk and eat and especially LAUGH!

It was hard to stop the blood in my nose. I had blood ALL over my hands and arms (and shirt).

This picture makes me laugh, but it hurts to laugh so I shouldn't look at it.

Nothing hurts so I am smiling.
Although the kid that hit me (with his forehead) didn't bleed, but he cried harder then me. He kept saying "I'm Sorry!!!!!!!" I was the one bleeding, but he was the one crying. ha ha ha

It was just an accident. I still love playing football!!
